OnePlus and its pecuilar marketing strategy

OnePlus company was founded on December 16 of 2013 and unveiled its first device, the OnePlus One, on 23 April 2014.

At the moment, they have sold more than one million devices, in less than 1 year. But the most interesting thing is their strategy. Till 1 month ago, you could buy the phone only by invitation. Also, OnePlus doesn’t have a single commercial on television, nor any printed ads, not even banners on the websites that we enthusiasts frequent.

Without the big promotion all the other smartphones has, and without having a strong company name, OnePlus had the ability to hit the smartphone market with an amazing phone!
